Breast lift and reduction scars run around the areola and down the breast. Camouflage tattooing blends them back into your skin, so the shape you chose is what you notice first.
Lollipop and anchor scars from breast lifts and reductions often heal lighter or darker than the skin around them. We colour-match pigment to your natural tone and blend it into the scar line, so it reads far less.
Where a scar runs around the areola, we can refine the edge of the areola at the same time so the whole area looks even.

Common questions
How long after surgery can I start?
Your scars need to be fully healed and settled, which is typically 10 to 12 months after surgery. We’ll assess this at your consultation.
Can you even out the areola as well?
Absolutely, yes. This is referred to as areola blushing, and it’s often a very well adapted part of treatment, bringing consistent vibrancy back into an areola that has been compromised. See 3D nipple and areola tattooing.
What if my scars are raised or textured?
Textural concerns are often a part of breast lift and augmentation scars. Camouflage works best on flat scars, so where there’s texture, Restorative Needling is usually the starting point. The protocol is typically around 1 to 2 sessions of restorative needling (inkless tattoo), followed by 3 sessions of camouflage, and we’ll confirm this at your consultation.
What is the pain like?
Most clients describe it as around a 3 out of 10. We don’t use numbing cream, because we need to see how your skin responds as we work, and numbing products can impede the healing response restorative needling relies on. We go at your pace, with breaks whenever you need them.
